William Vincent is a writer and director with a deep passion for storytelling and a commitment to crafting meaningful, character-driven films.

His debut short film, Insomnium, completed post-production in January 2025 and is currently making its way through major film festivals around the world, where it has already received multiple awards.

Before stepping behind the camera, William spent over 20 years working in New York’s film and television industry as a proud member of IATSE Local 52. That hands-on experience continues to shape his approach to filmmaking—grounded, collaborative, and technically informed.

He has been writing screenplays since 2011, and in the summer of 2024, he directed Insomnium, marking a bold new chapter in his creative journey.

His next project, The Thompson Girls—a historical drama set during the American Revolution—is currently in development and slated for release in early 2026.
